Day 3- Split fleets, light air and close racing
Today saw the big fleet split into gold and silver fleet.
Both completed a total of 4 races in light air. The racers were on their biggest kites 18-21m.
Out the front Guy Bridge maintained his lead with consistent results scoring another bullet and 3 close second finishes resulting in a solid overall lead.
World Champion Nicolas Parlier snatched the second position from the older Bridge brother Olly with some good tactical races plus scoring a Bullet.
Also current #2 ranked rider on the tour Axel Mazella had a great day climbing the leader board scoring a win in race 11.
Guy is very happy with his new Flysurfer VMG kites that they have been working on all winter and is looking forward to the last day of action tomorrow.
In the women’s fleet Steph Bridge extended her lead over Alexia Fancelli.
